If you are looking for a dessert at Disney Springs, there are many delicious options, however none are as stunning as the baked goods from Amorette’s Patisserie. This bakery is known for artfully made miniature cakes, eclairs and macarons. I can guarantee that anything you get here will taste even better than it looks on Instagram.
With a name that means “Little Love” in French, you can expect handmade desserts that reflect an adoration for pastries. We have visited many times in the past and are always thrilled with new designs and flavors. I tend to just get a pastry to go, but you can also find specialty drinks, crepes and even sandwiches. I’ll explain everything to know about the adorable bakery Amorette’s Patisserie in this review.
Location and Atmosphere
You will find Amorette’s Patisserie tucked away in the corner near World of Disney, close to The Polite Pig. With the simple architecture, it is almost hard to miss next to the giant World of Disney store. However, you can smell the decadent treats from outside and usually see a constant flow of people in and out. This is how you know the bakery is a must-visit! The closest parking garage is the Lime Garage and from there you can be at Amorette’s Patisserie in minutes. This is especially convenient if you are getting a large cake, which I have yet to splurge for.
Inside, the bakery feels like one you would find in Belle’s village in Beauty and the Beast, with cozy lighting and lots of wooden fixtures. Unfortunately, the crowds usually detract from this vibe, though the line always moves fast regardless. You can view the treats in line and then order at the counter. The desserts can be eaten there or packed up to go. There are a few tables outside, but if the weather is nice, I prefer to sit at the tables outside with a view of the fountain.
Amorette’s Patisserie Menu
The menu often varies at Amorette’s Patisserie, but you can always count on at least four different signature pastries. These have varied from Key Lime Style Tarts to a Mickey Mousse. Often, there is an option that corresponds with the season or the release of a new movie. In the past, they usually offer a special dessert to match whatever holiday event is going at Disney Springs.
There are more options than pastries here, though it can be hard to choose anything else. Other items on the menu include eclairs, crepes, sandwiches, cookies, and macaroons. I think they do sweet food best here, but if someone in your party has a lunch craving, a $11 focaccia sandwich may suffice. I would recommend checking out the Daily Poutine right across the fountain instead though.
There’s also a variety of beverages of the alcoholic and nonalcoholic type. They offer some lovely French wines and champagnes to enjoy with your dessert that can also be mixed for a Mimosa or a Bellini. Probably most popular are the wine slushies with ever changing flavors. These are a fruity and refreshing drink to enjoy while shopping around. There is also Joffrey’s coffee and soft drinks, in case you want something nonalcoholic with your treat.
Nearly every time we come to Disney Springs, we check out the options at Amorette’s Patisserie. I have enjoyed everything from the Blood Orange Mousse to the N.Y. Cheesecake. My favorite is hands down, the Key Lime Tart. They have had two different iterations of it and the newest one is the best with the graham cracker crust. However, my absolute favorite part is the mini macaroon which tops the pastry.
We have also loved other treats like the Caramel Chocolate pastry and the Raspberry Dark Chocolate Rose Mousse. However, make sure to eat the mousse right away, because we have had them melt while walking around before! Pretty much the only think I have not liked is the coffee, as it is just boring Joffrey’s brand. A cafe like this deserves a better cup of brew! I recommend going to the Starbuck’s very close by if you want coffee with your dessert.
Special Offerings at Amorette’s Patisserie
In addition to the seasonal pastries that Amorette’s Patisserie offers, there is also a fun experience for those who enjoy baking. For $169 per person, you can attend a 90-minute group lesson to learn how the cakes are decorated. There are different character designs offered every week that you get to learn how to design and then take back to your family to try!
I have not taken this yet, but have heard rave reviews from those who have! You get Mimosas and Bellini’s included with the event and an in-depth look at how the cakes are made here. It’s the perfect experience for anyone interested in cake decorating!
Know Before You Go: Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs
A trip to Disney World always brings out my sweet tooth, but it used to be for treats like Dole Whips and Churros. Now, I find it hard to leave Disney Springs without tasting something from the bakery at Amorette’s Patisserie. They really make pastries that are unlike any other, so make sure to stop here for some extra Disney magic! Here are a few thing sto keep in mind before your visit.
- Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs is open from 11:00 AM – 10 PM daily.
- This is a counter-service cafe and reservations are not available.
- The restaurant is located in the town center at Disney Springs and is closest to the Lime Garage.
- Seating is mainly inside, but there is some outside as well.
- You do not need a park ticket or hotel reservation to dine here and parking is free.
- Amorette’s Patisserie has some nonalcoholic drinks that qualify as a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit, but none of them are worth it in my opinion.
